Waiver - Sewing is one of the safest activities your child can participate in. Sewing safety is taught in the first lesson and reinforced in every lesson thereafter. Even so, sewing utilizes pins, needles, scissors, irons, and an electrical machine, and may result in small pin pricks, scissor cuts, or other minor injuries. By signing (typing) below you acknowledge that this may occur and that you do not hold Mojo Quilts and more responsible for such incidents.

Social Media Waiver - From time to time, photos may be taken of your child during sewing class which may be used on my Mojo Quilts and more website, Instagram, or Facebook page. While students love to see these pictures of themselves, NO picture will ever be used WITHOUT permission from parents/guardians. This is to protect the privacy of children. Please check one of the following:*

Yes, I give permission for my child’s picture to be posted on social media connected to Room to Sew. I understand that only the first initial will be used to identify my child (example: ‘E completed her first project!’). No names will be used.

No, I do not give permission for my child’s picture to be posted on the Room to Sew website or any social media connected with it. Please do not take photos of my child.

I understand that time and space are very limited. Projects may not be fully complete at the end of a session. Students will be allowed to make up only one missed class per session and can be made up only during designated, scheduled make-up times. Make-up classes can no longer be made up during other class times* or be carried over into the next session. Refunds will not be issued for a missed class, so please check the calendar for class dates. *Exceptions are teacher absence/cancellation, classes on school holidays, or at teacher discretion.

3.  If we are notified less than 7 days prior to the start of camp that your child cannot attend, your child may switch to another week or you forfeit the registration cost.  No refunds or credits will be issued.
